Start by crushing crackers in ziplock bags using rolling pin.
Add the crackers to a large mixing bowl along with the ground beef.
Break up the beef and mix with the crackers
Crack open an egg and whisk. Then add your egg to the beef and crackers.
Add all the other ingredients to the bowl and mix well.
Scoop mixture into balls and press down into mini burgers. We used a burger presser but this is optional.
You should get around 11-12 burgers depending on how big you make them. If you use a burger presser they will all remain the same size.
Cook your burgers by using a panini grill for 3-4 minutes. Alternatively you can pan fry them flipping them over after 3-4 mins. You can check the temperature of your burgers when done. They should be cooked to a temperature of 145F on the inside but so long as they are not pink on the inside they should be cooked through.
Use cookie cutters to cut cheese to the size of your mini burgers.
Prepare your condiments and salad items to place onto your burgers.
Serve with potato wedges, fries, pasta or rice. Enjoy!
