Whether it be the end of school year or Teacher Appreciation week, it is always nice to show your teacher that you care and thank them for everything they do! Teachers work so hard and they go above and beyond to make school fun and enjoyable for their students.

Teachers are the cornerstone of education. They possess the knowledge and skills to impart valuable information to students, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in life. By sharing their expertise, teachers empower students to develop their intellectual, social, and emotional capacities.
Inspiring A Love For Learning
Great teachers inspire a love for learning within their students. They have the ability to make subjects engaging, interesting, and relevant, sparking curiosity and fostering a lifelong thirst for knowledge. By creating a positive learning environment, teachers motivate students to explore, question, and develop critical thinking skills.
Teachers are essential in shaping the next generation of leaders, innovators, and thinkers.

During the school year, teachers are planning lessons, grading assignments and providing individualized attention to students.
Our children spend a huge majority of their time with these amazing human beings.
Do you remember those times during that worldwide pandemic? How can we forget? When students had to do long distance learning. Children had to adapt to learning from home. I was fortunate enough to have a background in educational activities. My kids were small enough for me to be able to teach them from home.
But not all parents were as lucky. If you had older children going through exam prep or trying to get their grades up, it was an even tougher time. Not to mention that most parents were still having to juggle their jobs at the same time.
Getting back to ‘normal’
Teachers were eventually ‘allowed’ to step in and help. They worked hard in preparing packs and sent work home for their students. When we were eventually allowed to send our children to school, we all had to take precautions in the classroom.

Being an early educator has given me an insight into how hard these teachers work. When teachers have a classroom full of students they don’t get a whole lot of time to ‘prep’ so they often have to do this in their free time. And unfortunately it is usually unpaid 🙁
Thats why I personally think Teacher Appreciation is important. It just shows that we care and appreciate all the hard work they put in. I always used to love getting little homemade cards and pictures from students when I was working as a pre-school teacher. It never gets old and I am pretty sure I kept most of them somewhere in a box!
By celebrating teachers, we recognize and appreciate their invaluable contributions to society, honour their dedication and hard work, and inspire others to pursue the noble profession of teaching.
These little gift tags are a cute way to say thank you. They may also give you some inspiration when deciding to choose a gift.

Writing Activity
Maybe your kids would like to tell their teachers how special they are. This cute little writing activity is a nice memento for teacher appreciation or at the end of the school year. I’m sure they would love to impress their teacher by showing off their writing skills at the end of the school year too.
