I just love paper plate crafts for kids. There are so many things that you can use paper plates for, especially when it comes to crafting. So why not recycle those paper plates and try making our paper plate bats this halloween!
Bat Supplies
For your bats you will need;
- Paper Plate
- Clothes Peg
- Scissors
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush
- Googly Eyes
- Black Foam (optional)
If you’re looking to make bats this halloween these cute little paper plate bats are very easy to do and great for kids to show off and hang up during halloween.
Once your bat is cut out it is ready to paint. If you are doing these in your classroom you might want to pre-cut the bats so you have templates ready for the children.
When your wings and peg are dry you can start to add details to your bat. I added ears to my bat but my daughter didn’t want her bat to have ears so it is personal preference.
Putting Your Paper Plate Bat Together
Once you’ve drawn on a mouth and added all the extras to your bat, you can assemble it. This is very simple to do and will help with children’s fine motor control.
And your paper plate bat is finished! Very easy to do and a fun crafts to do with your kids during halloween.
