Who doesn’t love a good Halloween craft? Halloween doesn’t have to be scary and for little ones we often have to find crafts that aren’t as scary. For instance these paper cup monsters are perfect for little hands.
You can use regular school glue for this activity. This makes it a preschool friendly craft. But I always make sure I have hot glue on hand just in case we need it. 😉
For your Paper Cup Monsters you will need;
- Paper cups
- Coloured felt
- Large pipe cleaners
- Feathers
- Googly eyes
- School glue
- Hot glue
- Decent scissors

My daughter was able to do most steps by herself. But she did need a little help with some steps.

To make your monsters arms, an adult will need to poke a hole at each side with something sharp like scissors. This is because the felt is thick and only a sharp object will work.

In addition you can add some eyes and a mouth onto your monster to finish off.
Top Tip:
Because this is a pretty kid friendly craft to do, there isn’t really much supervision needed. But you can always pre-stick the felt onto the cup and poke holes before your child starts ‘making’ their cup into a monster.
